"Richard Kilham and his team first came into our maintenance circle when he was recommended to us by an insurance loss adjuster back in 2003/4 when our RF5B required a minor repair to a wing. Since then he has been our Number One maintainer of our airframe, including a complete strip down, recover and paint of the aircraft. Thanks to East Of England Sailplanes our aircraft is as new as a 37 year old a/c can be, if not better than when it was first built. "Richard started maintaining and renovating my sailplane around 1994 when he worked out of his farm workshop and kept my Skylark in tip top condition. I have known him re-fabric other wooden gliders to a first class finish and he later re-profiled the leading edges of my Vega in 2003. I lost touch with Richard for a while until he moved East of England Sailplanes to the current site. Since then he has taken on my Vega through EASA transition in 2008 and for finishing and fibreglass work to an excellent standard, doing small works within my budget and accident damage work as an insurance claim.
